A Lexicon Of Form
A Lexicon Of Form brings together a series of paintings that treat language not as something to be read, but as something to be built with. Using a custom system
of typography, I fragment, repeat and overlap words until they shift from text into device, creating dense, interwoven compositions that translate language from instruction to structure. As the words lose their legibility, they take on a new role as building blocks for pattern, rhythm and chromatic matrix. Language becomes material, form becomes meaning, and each work operates as part of a wider
visual system — a lexicon formed through shape, structure and relationships instead of words.
These works sit at the intersection of precision and complexity, where meaning comes not just from the letters themselves, but from the systems, patterns, and contradictions that hold them together.
