Open
Open refers to the idea of ‘reopening’ that dominated pandemic language — when can we reopen, return and resume? These works respond to that collective fixation, and use the Apple keyboard shortcut for ‘open’ (⌘ + O) as both a visual reference and a metaphor for access, permission and the desire to move forward.

When the city reopened again, QR codes had become part of the new visual and social landscape, distinct symbols of a changed world.
