This was created during one of Melbourne’s long lockdowns in 2020, when time and routine began to feel circular, repetitive, and slightly disorienting. The sense of being caught in a continuous loop, unable to move forward, only inward, became palpable. When the city reopened again, QR codes had become part of the new visual and social landscape, distinct symbols of a changed world.
