A Lexicon Of Form

A Lexicon Of Form brings together a series of paintings that treat language not as something to be read, but as something to be built with. Using a typographic system I created, I fragment, repeat and overlap words until they create dense, interwoven compositions that translate language from instruction to structure. As the words lose their legibility, they take on a new role as building blocks for pattern, rhythm and chromatic combinations. Vocabulary becomes material, form becomes meaning, and each work operates as part of a wider visual system — a lexicon formed through shape, structure and relationships instead of language.

These works combine the fields of precision and complexity, where meaning comes not just from the words themselves, but from the systems, patterns, and contradictions that hold them together.
